Editorial Policy & Content Standards
DoxPlay is a curated free-games platform combined with original editorial guides. This page explains exactly how we choose what to publish, who writes our content, how we handle corrections, and the standards every page on this site is held to.
Last reviewed: April 2026 · Owned by the DoxPlay Editorial Team
Content Sources
DoxPlay publishes two distinct kinds of content, each held to its own standards:
- Editorial guides — Long-form articles in our Guides section. Every article is written from scratch by the DoxPlay editorial team. We do not republish press releases, syndicate articles from other sites, use spun content, or publish auto-generated text. Each article is read end-to-end by a second team member before it goes live.
- Curated game library — HTML5 games licensed from established publishing partners (GameMonetize, GameDistribution, and direct partners). These games are hosted by their original publishers and embedded on our pages with their permission. We do not claim authorship of third-party games — credit and ownership remain with the original developer.
Game Review Process
Before a game is added to the public library it is reviewed against the following checklist:
- The game loads and is fully playable in current versions of Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge.
- The publisher embed URL is HTTPS and does not trigger browser security warnings.
- The game does not contain explicit sexual content, gratuitous gore, gambling with real money, hate speech, or dark patterns aimed at children.
- Performance is acceptable on a typical mid-range mobile device.
- Category and tag assignments accurately describe the gameplay.
- The thumbnail represents the actual game (not bait imagery).
Games that fail any of these checks are not added. Games already in the library that are later flagged are removed pending re-review.
Authorship
Editorial articles on DoxPlay are credited to the "DoxPlay Editorial Team". This is a small group of writers and editors with backgrounds in web development, casual-games journalism, and product. We do not currently run individual bylines, but every article has at least one author and one reviewer; both are real people on staff.
We do not accept paid placement in our editorial articles. If we ever publish a sponsored guide, it will be clearly labelled at the top of the page as "Sponsored".
Corrections & Updates
Articles are dated with both a "Published" and an "Updated" date. When we make a substantive factual correction we update the article and bump the "Updated" date. Minor copy edits (typos, clarifications) are made silently.
If you spot a factual error, email contact@doxplay.in and we will look into it within a few business days.
What We Will Not Publish
- Auto-generated or AI-spun articles passed off as human-written editorial.
- Fake reviews, fake user comments, or paid-for ratings.
- Content scraped or rewritten from other sites.
- Games containing real-money gambling, sexually explicit material, or content directed at children that contains violence or unsafe themes.
- Misleading download buttons, fake "virus detected" warnings, forced redirects, or other deceptive ad placements.
